Job summary

One Medical's Virtual Medical Team (VMT) seeks an Advanced Practitioner to deliver high-quality virtual primary care. You will treat patients through tele-health visits, triage calls, and email follow-ups, while engaging in weekly Clinical Rounds and ongoing learning.

The role requires CA licensure with ability to obtain additional licenses, 2+ years in primary or urgent care, and strong communication and teamwork to support patients 24/7/365.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Physician Assistant program and active NCCPA certification OR MSPA in an accredited FNP program with national certification.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner in primary care/urgent care settings with patient ages 0+.
• Currently licensed in CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients via tele-health visits, including video visits, phone triage, and email follow-ups.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.

The Opportunity:

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:

• Full time 40 hours including evenings and weekends

What you’ll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles

Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completion of Master’s Degree in a Physician Assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining active NCCPA certification OR completion of Master’s Degree in an accredited FNP program with a national certification.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Currently licensed in CA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
• Current shifts range from (6am - 12am PST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a full-time virtual role.

One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
