Job summary

eLuma is seeking a virtual Occupational Therapist to support New Mexico students for the 2026-2027 school year. The role is 15 hours per week, remote from your space, with strong clinical support and a track record of placing school-based therapists for over a decade.

You will evaluate and treat K-12 students under IEPs, develop goals, and collaborate with educators and families to ensure progress. Flexible scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active NBCOT certification (OTR) is required.
• Active license in New Mexico is required.
• Minimum one year of school-based OT experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver virtual occupational therapy services to K-12 students under established IEPs.
• Conduct OT evaluations assessing fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and functional skill development.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals aligned to student functional performance and classroom participation.
• Recommend and support environmental modifications and assistive technology to improve student access.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families on carryover strategies.
• Complete required documentation and progress notes within district-set timelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed, virtually.
