Job summary

Medicalincs is seeking a Mental Health Therapist (Virtual) to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health counseling to K-12 students within partner school districts. You will work with school personnel, families, and stakeholders to ensure accessible care and smooth transitions to Healthlincs services.

You will conduct intake assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, contribute to clinical trainings, and ensure timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted license to practice independently without supervision.
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children.
• Fingerprint (FBI) background check upon hire.
• Knowledge of diagnosis and assessment practices for children's mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual mental health counseling for K-12 students.
• May diagnose and conduct initial mental health intake assessments.
• Create individual treatment plans.
• Collaborate with care management to ensure successful transitions to Healthlincs services.
• Obtain credentialing and state licenses as requested.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and other clinical activities.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintain weekly availability and productivity as directed by Clinical Leadership.
• Provide telehealth crisis support as needed.
