Job summary

Furniture Mart USA is seeking a Virtual Sales Associate to assist customers online with product guidance, personalized recommendations, and exceptional service. You will help customers transform their house into a home through thoughtful suggestions and timely support.

You’ll engage via chats, email, and calls, building relationships and guiding purchases while meeting sales goals and learning our systems. This role offers full-time hours and strong growth potential within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn company systems.
• Ability to multitask across multiple digital platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers through online chats, email, phone calls, and other digital communication channels.
• Build relationships and uncover customer needs through active listening and effective questioning.
• Deliver personalized recommendations across furniture and mattresses.
• Use your product expertise to help customers choose styles, materials, colors, fabrics, and room solutions.
• Research product availability, specifications, and delivery timelines using company systems.
• Drive sales by confidently presenting solutions and closing transactions.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales goals and performance expectations.
• Explain financing, delivery, pickup, protection plans, and other value-added services.
• Process sales orders, special orders, and related documentation accurately.
• Partner with retail showroom associates to ensure seamless customer handoffs when needed.
• Follow up with customers regarding orders, updates, and satisfaction.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalates issues when appropriate.
• Maintain a positive, customer-first online shopping experience at every interaction.
