Job summary

Marsh invites talented college students to join the US Retirement Actuarial Externship Program for 2027. Over 12 days (84 hours), you will work on sample projects, shadow analysts, and participate in mentorship and networking activities. The program is virtual, with a potential path to a 2028 full-time Actuarial Analyst role.

Ideal candidates are pursuing actuarial science or related degrees, graduating winter 2027 or spring 2028, and seeking U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, finance, economics, mathematics, or related fields.
• Expected graduation winter 2027 or spring 2028; pursuing an actuarial career.
• Permanent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on sample project work and analyst shadowing during the externship.
• Engage in group networking, mentorship, and team-building activities.
• Possibility to transition to a 2028 full-time Actuarial Analyst role.
