Cooper Norcross Health seeks a Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) to join our on-site care team in Camden. The VRN will be accountable for a group of patients across a designated time frame, guiding care through the nursing process and utilizing available AI tools when appropriate.
The role requires a 100% on-site presence, BSN, NJ RN license, and BLS. Part-time shift 7pm–7am with weekends and holidays rotation, along with proficiency in Epic documentation and computer skills.

The Virtual Registered Nurse (VRN) is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who helps oversee and provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. The VRN role advocates for patients and supports bedside staff, facilitates learning, aligns practice with safety and quality and engages in professional development. The virtual nurse will work both collaboratively and independently on the care processes available via the technologies available, including the use of available artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Required 2 years acute care hospital RN Med Surg or critical care acute inpatient experience.
BSN required.
Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse); Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers); certain specialties may require advanced certification (i.e. ACLS, NALS, PALS)
This role is 100% on-site, duties include bedside nursing, this is not a virtual role.
Part time, 7pm-7am, Weekends/holidays with rotation.
Proficiency in computer and technology skills and operation.
Epic documentation and user proficiency.
Must maintain clinical competency with at least 4 shifts per year, at least one per quarter, to maintain ongoing competency in a rapidly evolving care model.
