Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice delivering care for women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. You will provide evidence-based nutrition care via telehealth, set your own schedule, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support lasting lifestyle changes.

You will be compensated per active visit hour ($60–$70) with an onboarding bonus of $250.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for patients traversing midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate with a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive care plan that drives outcomes.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate lifestyle changes and improve wellbeing.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold privacy and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
