Job summary

One Medical is seeking a physician assistant for the Virtual Medical Team to deliver high-quality care via telehealth. The role requires MSPAS, NCCPA, and an active AL license with eligibility for additional states.

You will treat patients across ages through video, phone, and email, participate in weekly rounds, and work with both virtual and in-office teammates. The position is full-time, with shifts including evenings and weekends (11am–10pm EST or 12pm–11pm EST), and offers a robust benefits

Qualifications

• MSPAS degree from an accredited program.
• Active NCCPA certification and current PA license in AL with ability to obtain others.
• 2 years in outpatient primary care or 2 years in urgent care/emergency medicine.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts and to cover shifts (11am-10pm EST, 12pm-11pm EST).

The Opportunity:

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:

• Full time 40 hours including evenings and weekends

What you'll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completion of Master’s Degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS) and is maintaining an active NCCPA certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as a PA for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Currently licensed in AL with ability to obtain additional state licenses
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts
• Current shifts range from (11am-10pm EST, 12pm-11pm EST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a full-time virtual role.

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
