Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Maryland licensure required.
• Strong subject knowledge and instructional methods expected.
• Proven ability to work with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences for students in a virtual classroom.
• Work with platforms like Canvas and Edmentum.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress through virtual platforms.
• Communicate with students, parents, staff, and the community.
• Develop and adapt instructional plans for a virtual setting.
• Maintain records and follow district procedures.
• Uphold attendance and equipment safety standards.
• Serve on committees as needed.
• Help students develop critical-thinking skills.
• Adhere to Maryland state laws and BOE policies.
• Willingness to teach additional content areas as needed.
