Job summary

Atlantic Federal Credit Union in South Portland, Maine seeks a Virtual Member Service Representative to deliver a personalized experience via Digital and Video channels. This role focuses on delivering outstanding member service and supporting growth in Maine's banking industry.

The position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, and will start onsite during training with a hybrid schedule after completion. Prior credit union or financial institution experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in financial institutions is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Note: Required Saturday rotation coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in completing transactions, including opening new personal and business accounts, referring loans.
• Identify loan needs and opportunities for new and existing members and refer to team.
• Assist in account maintenance such as stop payments, check orders, address changes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in completing transactions, including opening new personal and business accounts, referring consumer, real estate and commercial loans.
• Identify loan needs and opportunities for new and existing members. Act as a key team player in member service by uncovering new opportunities during all member interactions.
• Assist in account maintenance, which can include stop payments, check orders, address changes, etc.
