Job summary

Tutor Me Education seeks qualified language tutors to help students develop Mandarin and/or Japanese language skills while supporting broader academic growth. In this role, you will help students develop language skills while supporting their broader academic growth. This is an opportunity to work with learners at different levels, tailor instruction to individual needs, and provide engaging support that helps students build understanding and confidence in both language learning and subject‑area content.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese, with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Experience teaching K-12 students
• Experience adapting lessons for different learning needs and academic levels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering virtual one‑on‑one or small‑group instruction to students
• Ability to teach academic subjects such as math, science, social studies, and ELA/Reading in Mandarin and/or Japanese
• Familiarity with lesson planning, progress tracking, and student goal setting
