Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking a Virtual Mandarin/Japanese Tutor to support K-12 students across the United States. You will deliver Mandarin and/or Japanese instruction, tailor lessons to each learner, and help students build language skills while supporting overall academic growth.

This role emphasizes flexible scheduling, online delivery, and adapting lessons for diverse learning needs. Experience with virtual one-on-one or small-group instruction is preferred, along with the ability to teach

In this role, you will help students develop language skills while supporting their broader academic growth. This is an opportunity to work with learners at different levels, tailor instruction to individual needs, and provide engaging support that helps students build understanding and confidence in both language learning and subject-area content.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Mandarin and/or Japanese, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Experience teaching K-12 students.
• Experience adapting lessons for different learning needs and academic levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering virtual one-on-one or small-group instruction to students.
• Ability to teach academic subjects such as math, science, social studies, and ELA/Reading in Mandarin and/or Japanese.
• Familiarity with lesson planning, progress tracking, and student goal setting.
