Role Description

The Virtual Licensed Clinical Therapist is a remote, contract role responsible for delivering outpatient mental health services via secure telehealth platforms. Day-to-day work includes conducting diagnostic assessments, developing and updating treatment plans, and providing individual, family, or group therapy sessions. The therapist will monitor client progress, coordinate care with other providers when appropriate, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Additional responsibilities may include crisis intervention, participation in case consultations, and supporting clients with referrals to community resources to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Clinical practice skills in Mental Health and Psychology relevant to outpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.


• Background in Social Work and Case Management to coordinate services, support care planning, and connect clients with community resources.


• Training and experience in Family Therapy to address relational dynamics and provide support to couples, families, and caregivers.


• Active, unrestricted license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Psychologist) in the state of Texas to practice independently.


• Demonstrated competence with telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and secure communication tools.


• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.


• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage a caseload, and maintain reliable internet and a confidential workspace.


• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related behavioral health field.
