Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a High School Technology Education Teacher for Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy (MGLVA). This full-time online role requires Michigan teaching certification, residence in Michigan, and periodic travel for school functions.

Base salary is around $47,000 with a possible performance bonus, emphasizing personalized, data-driven instruction. You will deliver synchronous and asynchronous learning, collaborate with families/learning coaches, and maintain a professional home

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and active state teaching license
Certification in Technology Education (TE/IX) is required in Michigan
Background check must be clear

Responsibilities

Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students
Differentiate instruction based on mastery levels
Maintain grade book and monitor student progress and prepare for high-stakes tests
Communicate regularly with families/learning coaches about student progress and needs
Travel as required for face-to-face professional development and testing (approx. 20% of time)
