etch seeks a Virtual Health Advanced Practice Provider to deliver telehealth visits for our School Telehealth Program and Virtual On Demand. You will work with a physician supervisor to assess pediatric patients and provide clinical care remotely.

Responsibilities include history taking, physical exams, diagnoses, orders for tests, treatment plans, and medication management, while collaborating with a healthcare team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required for PA or master's for NP.
• PA-C or NP license in TN.
• Minimum 1 year pediatric experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide non-emergent acute medical care via telemedicine or other virtual health delivery technologies.
• Provide medical services under the supervision of a physician.
• Complete medical assessments including history and physical exam.
• Formulate diagnosis within scope of practice.
• Order appropriate diagnostic studies and execute such diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as the physician may assign.
• Provide plan of treatment based on diagnosis.
• Write medication orders.
• Assist with in-service education.
• Initiate appropriate referral and consultation.

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Virtual Health Advanced Practice Provider provides telehealth visits for our School Telehealth Program and/or Virtual On Demand.

REPORTS TO

Virtual Health Manager and Medical Director

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Education: Bachelors Required for Physician Assistant or Masters Required for Nurse Practitioner
• License/Certification Required: Physician Assistant National Examination Certified for Physician Assistant or NP Licensed in State of Tennessee
• Minimum Work Experience: 1 year pediatric experience required

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills for confident interactions with community partners.
• Strong computer skills pertinent to use of laptops and tablets. Experience with Apple products preferred.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Initiate appropriate referral and consultation.

- Light lifting, pushing and pulling is required for 10-20 lbs occasionally and frequent moving of objects of less than 10 lbs is required. Frequent sitting with some walking, standing, squatting, bending and reaching is required. Keyboard/computer use and/or repetitive motions may be required.
