Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Virtual Medical Team clinician (FNP) to provide world-class primary care via tele-health. You will treat patients across all ages, participate in weekly clinical rounds, and collaborate with both virtual and in-office teammates to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires an accredited FNP program with national certification and current licensure in IL, NY, NJ, or MA with ability to obtain additional licenses. Evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited FNP program with national certification.
• 2 years in outpatient primary care or urgent care with patients of all ages.
• Current license in IL, NY, NJ, or MA with ability to obtain additional licenses.
• For IL: APRN-FPA with independent practice authority.
• For NJ: APN with Full Practice Authority (>5,000 hours in primary care).

Responsibilities

• Treat patients via tele-health visits, including video, telephonic triage, and email follow-ups.
• Weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles.

The Opportunity

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world-class, convenient, evidence-based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team-based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Full time 40 hours including evenings and weekends

What you'll be working on

• Treating patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role

• Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Currently licensed in one of these states : IL , NY, NJ, or MA with ability to obtain additional state licenses
• For IL License: must have received independent practice authority in Illinois , APRN-FPA (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse - Full Practice Authority)
• For NJ License: Must have Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Full Practice Authority status (> 5000 hours in primary care)
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
• Current shifts range from (8am -7pm EST, 11am-10pm, 12pm-11pm EST, 1pm-12am EST)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a full-time virtual role.

Compensation

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
