Job summary

One Medical seeks a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner to join the Virtual Medical Team for 40 hours/week, including evenings and weekends. You will provide telehealth care, triage, and follow-up visits, while learning through clinical rounds and team huddles.

Requirements include completing an accredited FNP program with national certification, 2+ years in outpatient primary care or urgent care, and current multistate licensure (NY/NJ/MA/IL). This is a full‑time virtual role.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification.
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least 2 years in outpatient primary care or urgent care/emergency with patients of all ages.
• Currently licensed in NY, NJ, MA, or IL with ability to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients via tele-health visits, including telephonic triage, video visits, and email follow-ups.
• Engage in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates via daily huddles.
• Apply clinical training to deliver exceptional care to patients virtually.

The Opportunity:

The One Medical Virtual Medical Team (VMT) is a leading provider of virtual clinical care, providing world‑class, convenient, evidence‑based virtual medical care to One Medical patients in concert with their primary care providers. Through advanced technology and a team‑based approach, we care for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Employment type:

• Full time 40 hours including evenings and weekends

What you’ll be working on:

• Treating patients via tele‑health visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow‑ups
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with both virtual and in‑office teammates via daily huddles
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to give exceptional care to patients virtually

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role:

• Completed an accredited FNP program with a national certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
  • 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 2 years in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+)
• Currently licensed in one of these states : NY, NJ, MA, or IL with ability to obtain additional state licenses
  • For IL License must have received independent practice authority in Illinois , APRN‑FPA (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – Full Practice Authority)
    For NJ: Must have Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Full Practice Authority status (> 5000 hours in primary care)
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts (every other Saturday AND or Sunday required)
• Current shifts range from (8am - 7pm ET, 11am - 10 pm ET, 12 pm - 11 PM ET, 1 pm- 12 AM ET)
• Excellent clinical and communication skills

This is a full‑time virtual role.

The base hourly range for this role is $59.10 to $65.50 per hour (plus evening and weekend differential) based on a full‑time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule.
