Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned events-focused marketer to own virtual events end-to-end, from strategy and calendar planning through briefs, staff, rehearsals, live production, follow-up, and retrospectives.

You will build onboarding programs, product launches, feature deep-dives, and use-case workshops, translating complex product capabilities into clear stories. You’ll partner across Product, Marketing, Sales, and CS to drive engagement and pipeline.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in virtual events or related roles.
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company preferred.
  • Ability to learn technical products deeply and translate complex capabilities into simple, specific live demonstrations.
  • Polished, credible on-camera presence.
  • Experience hosting, interviewing, moderating, or presenting to professional audiences.
  • Ability to recruit and coordinate busy experts without formal authority.
  • Full-funnel growth fluency, including registration strategy, audience segmentation, campaign testing, conversion, and post-event nurture.
  • Experience defining channel metrics, working with CRM and marketing automation data, and calculating ROI.
  • Production judgment and attention to detail, including rehearsals, technical readiness, live moderation, and fallback planning.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar products and domains quickly.
  • Comfort delivering clarity in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

  • Own virtual events end to end, from program strategy and calendar planning through briefs, speaker staffing, rehearsals, live production, follow-up, and retrospectives.
  • Build onboarding programs, product launches, feature deep-dives, customer conversations, and use-case workshops.
  • Host, moderate, present, and demonstrate products live.
  • Translate complex product capabilities into clear, accurate stories.
  • Build relationships across Product, Engineering, Research, Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and Marketing to identify and prepare speakers and subject-matter experts.
  • Partner with Growth, Lifecycle, Social, Communications, Sales, and Customer Success on promotion plans.
  • Track registrations, identify audience gaps, and run experiments across audience, creative, channel mix, timing, and follow-up.
  • Extend event value through recordings, replays, clips, FAQs, demo flows, education materials, and sales follow-up.
  • Instrument and measure the funnel from registration through attendance, engagement, activation, qualified pipeline, and revenue.
  • Track event costs, sourced and influenced pipeline, and channel ROI.
  • Create intake processes, calendars, production checklists, run-of-show templates, speaker benches, readiness gates, contingency plans, scorecards, and reporting cadence.

Requirements
