Job summary

The Virtual Preparatory Academy of Florida is seeking an ELA Content Coach to support teachers and students in grades 3–10 with standards-aligned curriculum, pacing guides, and instructional resources delivered through a fully online format.

You will monitor standards coverage, analyze student performance, unpack standards, and collaborate with instructional coaches and school leadership to adjust pacing and priorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education preferred.
• Five+ years of experience in education with demonstrated experience or expertise in English Language Arts.
• Strong knowledge of ELA standards, curriculum, pacing, and assessment across grades 3–10.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support ELA teachers in grades 3–10 with implementation of standards-aligned curriculum, pacing guides, and instructional resources.
• Monitor pacing and progress toward standards mastery throughout the year.
• Collaborate with teachers to unpack standards and adjust instructional priorities based on data.
• Review curriculum maps and resources to ensure alignment with grade-level standards and student needs.
