Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of registered dietitians to deliver synchronous virtual nutrition visits for midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no employee benefits, offering flexible scheduling.

Dietitians provide care via telehealth, maintain documentation, and enroll with commercial health plans. Compensation is per visit, with earnings ranging based on visit type and length.

Qualifications

• National certification as a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN) with license to practice in Indiana.
• Ability to commit for a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition therapy for conditions like metabolic syndrome, weight management, osteopenia, and gut health.
• Experience with plant-forward/anti-inflammatory eating patterns and telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife, perimenopause, and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care via phone and video to support lifestyle change.
• Deliver multi-week programs to improve symptoms and sustain behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation and adhere to privacy, quality, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Pomelo care team to enroll patients and ensure payer credentialing.
