Job summary

Pomelo Care is expanding its network of Registered Dietitians to deliver virtual care for midlife and menopause transitions. You will conduct synchronous video visits and work with a multi-specialty team to deliver holistic care.

This 1099 independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, onboarding bonus, competitive pay per active visit hour, and support with scheduling, credentialing, and AI documentation tools.

Qualifications

• National certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD/Nutritionist (RDN) with a license to practice in any US state.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing evidence-based nutrition counseling.
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• Comfort using telehealth platforms, video conferencing, and EMR.
• Strong clinical independence and exceptional communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits to provide one-on-one nutritional care for midlife and menopausal transitions.
• Collaborate within a multi-specialty care team to ensure a cohesive, holistic care plan.
• Partner with patients over a multi-week program to facilitate sustainable lifestyle changes.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition therapy focusing on metabolic health, body composition, bone health, and gut health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Uphold clinical, privacy, and compliance standards for all visits conducted through the Pomelo platform.
