Job summary

Pomelo Care is a leading virtual medical practice focused on care for women and children across pregnancy, postpartum, pediatrics, menopause, and perimenopause. We are expanding a network of registered dietitians to deliver synchronous, remote nutrition visits as part of midlife programs.

As an independent contractor, you will manage your patient visits via telehealth, with support from Pomelo for credentialing and billing.

Qualifications

• RD/RDN licensure in Indiana is required.
• Commitment of at least 10 patient-facing hours per week.
• At least 3 years of evidence-based nutrition therapy experience for metabolic syndrome, weight management, osteoporosis, GI health, and plant-based diets.
• Comfort using telehealth, video conferencing, and electronic documentation.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently during visits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct synchronous video visits with patients navigating midlife and menopause transitions.
• Provide one-on-one virtual nutrition care to support lifestyle changes.
• Work with patients in a multi-week program to improve symptoms and behavior change.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
• Follow clinical, privacy, quality, and compliance standards for Pomelo visits.
