Job summary

Arena Family of Companies is seeking a remote VDC Designer to lead conceptual design and BIM modeling for complex electrical and industrial projects. The role emphasizes ownership and technical excellence across modeling, standards, and coordination with field teams.

You will help set project direction, build design packages, evaluate risk, identify prefabrication opportunities, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and leadership to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of VDC, technical modeling, or related experience.
• Electrical industry experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced virtual modeling skills.
• BIM standards and project coordination experience.
• Ability to communicate across technical and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Set project direction for VDC design and execution.
• Build conceptual design packages and BIM models.
• Coordinate with field teams, project teams, and clients.
• Evaluate project risk and identify prefabrication opportunities.
