Job summary

VIATechnik is hiring a remote VDC Manager to lead end-to-end delivery on large electrical VDC projects across the United States. You will bridge communication gaps, mentor engineers, and coordinate BIM updates with stakeholders to support installation success.

We expect 5+ years in BIM/VDC, leadership of design teams, and experience with electrical projects. This role offers growth into strategic leadership within VIATechnik's global delivery network and collaboration with top clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of experience providing implementation, training, and support in BIM and VDC.
• Managed 2-3 detailers and/or VDC Engineers.
• 3+ years of experience working for an electrical trade contractor.
• Experience coordinating BIM updates, running clash detection and communicating results to stakeholders.
• Experience modeling, drafting, producing drawings, and reading electrical plans.
• Capable of self-directed work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery across 3+ complex electrical VDC projects.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and drive repeat work from clients.
• Mentor global team and lead internal training on electrical coordination best practices.
• Coordinate online meetings and training sessions with remote project teams.
• Ensure BIM updates and clash detection effectively support project goals.
