How To MANAGE a Small Law Firm is seeking an experienced Fractional Controller to guide solo law firm owners in understanding their numbers, improving profitability, and making smarter financial decisions. You’ll advise a roster of 40 clients as part of a Fractional Executive Team of CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Controllers.

You’ll lead monthly 1:1 financial strategy calls, analyze statements, build dashboards, and forecast cash flow while coaching clients toward stronger financial habits.

Formación

• Controller or senior-level accounting/finance experience.
• Proven profitability, cash flow, or expense improvement results.
• Experience managing teams or client relationships.
• Strong communication and ability to explain financials simply.
• Small business or entrepreneurial experience preferred.
• Professional services or law firm experience is a plus.

Location Requirement

This is a remote position, but we can only hire candidates who reside in AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, VA, WA, or WV.

• Small business or entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred
• Professional services or law firm experience is a plus

The Details

Remote | Full-Time

Some evening availability and travel required.

Compensation

$110,000 to $145,000 total annual compensation, including base pay, roster-based earnings, additional projects, and projected bonuses.
