Job summary

Nordic Knots in Los Angeles seeks a Sales & Showroom Associate – Virtual Consultation Specialist to grow client value through expert online consultations and proactive clienteling from the LA Flagship. You will guide online clients from first inquiry to confident purchase while supporting floor coverage and store operations.

Based in the showroom, you will have full access to the collection and master samples, building long-term relationships with residential and Trade clients, including

Qualifications

• 3+ years in high-end retail, showroom, personal shopping or clienteling sales, ideally within interiors or premium design.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets through relationship-based selling, including remote or virtual selling.
• Strong eye for interior design with ability to guide clients across colour, material, scale, space and use — on camera as well as in person.
• Natural relationship builder with private clients and Trade professionals.
• Confident using CRM software (HubSpot preferred), POS systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; experience with Zoom/Teams; Business Central or Zendesk is a plus.
• Able to manage multiple client projects across email, phone, video and in-store channels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct live virtual consultations from the showroom, guiding clients on rug texture, scale, colour, traffic suitability and lifestyle needs.
• Drive online client journeys from inquiry to purchase and build long-term relationships.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up through delivery.
• Develop deep knowledge of Nordic Knots collections to consult clients.
• Proactive outreach to top-tier clients to drive repeat sales and manage a portfolio of residential and Trade clients.
• Identify delivery or production delays early and offer proactive resolutions.
• Contribute to LA store sales targets and KPIs with virtual sales attributed to the store.
• Support showroom floor coverage during peak periods and assist with opening/closing and daily operations.
• Maintain samples and master sample library; assist with inventory and merchandising.
• Raise operational and client feedback to Showroom Manager for improvements.
