HITT Contracting is seeking a Reality Capture Manager to lead our Virtual Construction team in Atlanta, GA. You will own the enterprise-wide implementation of reality capture technologies, guiding data from field capture to actionable insights that drive smart project decisions.

Your role blends leadership with technical mastery, mentoring a small team and shaping the future of our spatial technology strategy while collaborating closely with BIM and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5–7 years in BIM/VDC, surveying, or geospatial data management roles.
• Hands-on experience with 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry, and LiDAR technologies, with a strong understanding of surveying principles and coordinate systems.
• Hardware proficiency: operate laser scanner hardware, including FARO, NavVis, and Leica scanners.
• Software proficiency: ReCap Pro, FARO Scene, Leica Cyclone, NavVis, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Construction Documentation: reading and interpreting construction documents, shop drawings, and other design communication tools.
• Forward-Thinking Mindset: curiosity about emerging technologies and staying current with industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Own the Playbook: Create and implement enterprise-wide SOPs for reality capture that become industry benchmarks.
• Lead a team of 3–5; mentor in laser scanning and data processing.
• Establish QC protocols ensuring 100% accuracy in captured data across projects.
• Evaluate emerging reality capture tech and build adoption business cases.
• Maintain and upgrade tools: NavVis, FARO, Leica Cyclone, DroneDeploy, OpenSpace, Recap Pro.
• Transform raw scan data into actionable insights that drive project decisions.
• Collaborate with BIM teams to align scans with models.
• Collaborate with Operations to meet project requirements.
• Budget stewardship: manage equipment inventory and vendor relationships.
• Present reality capture value propositions to win new work and strengthen client relationships.
