Job summary

Nox Group is seeking a Virtual Construction Field Engineer to support the Nox Innovations virtual design team and broader Nox Group construction installation teams with field research and validation. The role entails design, trade coordination, layout, installation coordination, and validation.

Responsibilities include managing routing submissions, coordinating constraints, attending coordination meetings, and performing field validations to ensure design-to-installation alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in the construction field (electrical a bonus).
• 2+ years’ experience in CAD.
• Experience in Project Layout.
• Ability to stand for long hours and walk job sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage Asset Routing submissions daily and support the field on routing processes.
• Coordinate and manage constraints during the modeling process; maintain a daily VC constraint log.
• Attend VC internal and external coordination meetings to document constraints and assist in resolution.
• Monitor and share weekly constraint progression with the project and VC teams.
• Assist with constructability review in the field.
• Assist the installation team with understanding the scope as needed.
• Provide total station layout points on site as needed.
• Perform daily coordination between the VC Project Coordinator and onsite field operations teams.
