Job summary

160 Driving Academy is seeking experienced CDL A drivers to join as Virtual CDL A Instructors, delivering online classroom instruction and supporting students as they prepare for CDL permits and theory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, mentoring, or training drivers.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and CDL permit requirements.
• Strong communication skills for managing a virtual classroom.
• Experience with virtual instruction or online learning platforms.

Are you an experienced CDL A Driver looking for a remote position where you can use your knowledge to train future truck drivers?

At 160 Driving Academy, we are hiring Virtual CDL A Instructors to deliver online classroom instruction and support students as they prepare for their CDL permit and theory requirements.

Requirements

• Must reside in the state you are applying for or have a residence secured for relocation.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Strong computer skills, including experience using platforms such as Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage a virtual classroom.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple students in an online environment.
