Job summary

Exceed Healthcare is seeking a Telemedicine Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join our remote ICU team. The provider will independently and collaboratively manage acutely ill patients in the ICU via telemedicine across multiple sites, including night shifts, with emphasis on high-quality patient care.

Qualified candidates are board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners, Acute Care NPs, or Physician Assistants/Associates, with BLS/ACLS and 2+ years in

Qualifications

• Board-certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care experience; 5 years preferred.
• Strong knowledge of critical care medicine and hemodynamics.
• Able to work across multiple sites in a telemedicine environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ICU care to acutely ill patients via telemedicine.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across multiple sites.
• Independently assess, plan, and implement patient care remotely.
• Prioritize tasks and ensure timely documentation in EMR.

Summary:

The Telemedicine Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the intensive care unit via telemedicine.

Qualifications:

• Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Required two (2) years experience working in the critical care setting as an Advanced Practice Provider (five (5) years preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of critical care medicine, e.g., fluid resuscitation, vasopressors, hemodynamic monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Competent with computer skills, and navigating various electronic medical records.
• Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Professional demeanor.
