Exceed Medical in Texas is seeking a Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) to join our neuro-intensive care unit. You will work with EEG services and dedicated neurology consultants to deliver high-quality patient care for acutely ill individuals.

The role requires board-certified NP/PA credentials, NPI, DEA, BLS/ACLS/ENLS, and neuro ICU experience is preferred. Night shifts, weekend nights, on-call duties, and full-time hours are available.

Formación

• Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
• Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS).
• Preferred experience of working at least one year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive care in the neuro-intensive care unit in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Independently and collaboratively manage acutely ill and medically complex patients with EEG services and neurology consultants.
• Perform proctoring and participate in on-call shifts as needed and support patient-centered care.

Job Summary:

The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro-intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams.
