Exceed Healthcare is seeking a Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) to join our neuro-intensive care unit team. The NP/PA will work independently and with a multidisciplinary group to deliver high-level care to acutely ill neurologic patients, with EEG services and neurology/neurosurgery support available.

Requirements include board certification as an Adult-Gerontology ACNP/ANP or PA, NPI and DEA, BLS/ACLS/ENLS, and preferred neuro-critical care experience.

Competenze

• Must be board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care NP, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
• Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency Neurological Life Support (ENLS).

Mansioni

• Provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and medically complex neuro-critical patients in the Neuro ICU, independently and with the multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, and neurosurgery/neuro-interventional teams.
• Participate in procedure proctoring as needed and support ongoing education and growth.

Job Summary:

The Neuro Intensivist Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP) is a certified, licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant who independently and collaboratively works with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to acutely ill and/or medically complex patients in the neuro-intensive care unit. Our multidisciplinary team includes dedicated EEG services, inpatient neurology consultants, dedicated fellowship trained neuro-intensivist physicians who work closely with neurosurgery and neuro-interventional teams.

Job Requirements:

• Must be a board certified and licensed Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant/Associate.
• Must have National Provider Identifier (NPI), or obtain NPI, prior to employment start date and meet current Medicare requirements for billing.
• Must hold current DEA Registration with schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 and State issued prescribing authority.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Emergency
• Neurological Life Support (ENLS).
• Preferred experience of working at least one (1) year in the neuro-critical care setting as a NP or PA or neuro ICU experience as a RN.
