Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a licensed Adaptive Physical Education (APE) teacher to deliver virtual services to eligible students with IEPs in the STAGES network. This independent contractor position requires residency in the United States and supports evaluations, direct services, and IEP participation.

You will collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams, develop goals, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with state regulations while utilizing online platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Adaptive Physical Education experience in educational settings.
• Experience conducting evaluations, records reviews, and developing individualized recommendations.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and participating in the IEP process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct adaptive physical education evaluations and reevaluations.
• Prepare evaluation reports for IEP teams.
• Provide virtual direct adaptive physical education services per IEP requirements.
• Develop individualized goals and objectives.
• Consult with families, teachers, therapists, and service providers.
• Maintain service logs, progress monitoring data, and reports.
