Job summary

Stride, Inc. via Arizona Virtual Academy (AZVA) seeks a state-certified Special Education Teacher to deliver online instruction in a fully virtual environment. You will develop IEPs, monitor student progress, and collaborate with families to ensure compliant services for students with special needs.

This full-time role requires about 40 hours per week and a professional home office setup. The position is remote with flexible scheduling within the school’s guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state teaching license; AZ Special Education certification required.
• Ability to clear required background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compliant special education services per IEPs.
• Develop IEPs and progress reports; lead IEP meetings.
• Facilitate collaborative special education meetings with families.
• Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous instruction.
• Maintain accurate gradebooks and document communications with families.
• Travel up to 20% for professional development or assessments.
