Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking certified Adapted Physical Education (APE) teachers to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction nationwide. You’ll tailor sessions to each student’s abilities, create modified fitness plans aligned to IEP goals, and adapt in real time while using household items when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience working with students who have education needs.
• Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations.
• Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, individualized virtual physical education tailored to each student’s abilities and learning profile.
• Create structured, modified fitness plans aligned with IEP goals (gross motor, coordination, strength, balance).
• Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement and home environment, using household items when needed.
• Track progress and report to families, IEP teams, and school partners with transparent motor-skill development updates.
