Ceva Animal Health in Lenexa, KS is seeking a QC Virology Technician I to ensure in-process materials and final products are tested in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.

The role involves titrations, inactivation checks, tissue culture testing, media prep, and precise data recording in a quality-controlled environment. A bachelor's degree in microbiology or veterinary science is required.

Qualifications

• Education - bachelor’s degree in microbiology, Veterinary Science or equivalent; 4+ years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years in Quality Control or relevant lab experience strongly preferred

Responsabilités

• Conduct titrations, inactivation assurance, identity, and extraneous agent testing for in-process materials and final product
• Perform testing described above in tissue culture or chicken embryos
• Prepare media and reagents for testing
• Perform calculations using Reed-Muench method
• Use aseptic technique to avoid contamination and document results clearly
• Report Out of Specification results and maintain QC records accurately
