Job summary

Virbac Corporation is seeking a Microbiology Technician to perform in-house microbiological enumerations and routine laboratory tests to characterize products and materials according to cGMP. The role includes maintaining a clean, calibrated Microbiology Laboratory and ensuring equipment readiness.

Qualified candidates should have an Associates degree in Chemistry, Biology or related field and 0–3 years in a Quality Control Lab.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and 0-3 years experience in a Quality Control Lab.
• Experience performing microbiology testing and handling lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-house microbiological enumerations and routine laboratory tests per cGMP.
• Maintain Microbiology Laboratory cleanliness and calibration of equipment.
• Support investigations within Quality Control and cross-functional departments.
• Process data review and participate in continuous improvement efforts.
