Ceva Animal Health in Lenexa, KS seeks a Molecular Research Technician I to support the Genomic Platforms team. The technician will perform laboratory activities including synthesis of pathogen target genes, construction and assessment of SRV candidates, and amplification of DNA for SRV production.

Responsibilities include pre-project lab management, reagent preparation, documentation, analytical testing, and SOP development, with emphasis on quality and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• BS in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Virology or related field.
• Three years of relevant laboratory experience in industry or academia preferred, focusing on molecular cloning and protein expression/characterization (IFA and Western blot).
• MS degree is considered a plus.

Mansioni

• Pre-project implementation and laboratory management for pre-clinical development.
• Prepare, purify, label reagents and monitor stock; manage lab needs.
• Perform and record analytical tests; contribute to protocol and method development.
• Contribute to SOP writing and ensure compliance with R&D rules.
• Document test results in lab journals and databases.
