Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline with a minimum of 6 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in molecular virology techniques such as viral genome sequencing, PCR/RT-qPCR, viral and/or host gene expression analysis, reverse genetics systems, and/or CRISPR genome modification.
• Experience with viral agents, including in vivo/ex vivo studies, and strong knowledge of biosafety, quality systems, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand NBACC virology capabilities and conduct research on viral agents using advanced molecular techniques.
• Design, implement, and lead virology projects with clear plans, deliverables, and budget adherence.
• Analyze viral host interactions, develop assays, and contribute to SOPs and quality management.
