Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for weekend coverage in Hampton, VA. The role includes 48-hour call blocks with 24-hour in-house coverage and on-call from 7pm to 7am on select shifts, handling spinal, epidural and regional anesthesia for OB, neurosurgical spine and complex orthopedic cases.

Candidates should manage complex vascular, ventilation, and arterial line needs; note that open heart and thoracic procedures are not required.

Qualifications

• CRNA certification and licensure required
• Experience with regional anesthesia preferred
• Ability to handle high-acuity OR cases

Responsibilities

• Weekend coverage: Saturday 7am to Monday 7am (48-hour call)
• Unrestricted pager call for weekends
• Spinal, epidural and regional anesthesia required
• OB, neurosurgical spine and complex orthopedic cases
• Vascular cases, ventilation management and central/arterial line insertion
• No open heart or thoracic procedures
• In-house 24-hour CRNA with on-call 7pm–7am
