Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks anesthesiologists for locum tenens coverage in Virginia Beach. Expect M-F, mix of 8, 10 and 12-hour days, no call, and adult patients (pediatric preferred). You will handle spinal, epidural, regional and obstetric anesthesia, ventilation management, and arterial/central line insertions.

Ongoing coverage and competitive compensation accompany pre-paid travel and housing. Weatherby provides 24/7 consultant support and is a charter member of NALTO.

Qualifications

• Spinal, epidural, regional and obstetric anesthesia is required.
• Ventilation management is required.
• Central/arterial line insertion is required.
• Adult patients only (pediatric preferred).
• Complex orthopedic, vascular and neuro spine cases are covered.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for assigned adult patients.
• Administer spinal, epidural, regional and obstetric anesthesia as needed.
• Manage ventilation and perform line insertions when required.
• Support ongoing coverage needs and document cases in the portal.
