Apply Now Latitude is seeking a lawyer with renewable energy project development experience to work in-house with a clean energy technology company on a part-time engagement basis. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in energy manufacturing . The role will also include drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a range of commercial agreements, including manufacturing procurement, supply chain, services, JDAs, NDAs, etc. and providing counsel to supply chain and engineering teams on a range of commercial legal issues to help the company with the product design, engineering, and manufacture of its flagship clean energy products. This is a fully remote/WFH position.

Requirements for the Renewable Energy Project Development and Commercial Contracting Attorney (Remote):

• 5+ years of experience handling project development and commercial contracts in the renewable energy industry required
• Prior experience negotiating, drafting, reviewing and/or editing a wide range of commercial contract, including manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, services, JDAs, and NDAs required
• Prior experience at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm or a corporate legal department is preferred
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
• Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
• Outstanding references

Compensation:

• Pay : The annualized pay for this position ranges from $180,000 to $250,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
• Benefits :In addition to pay, all Latitude legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
