Essenti Talent client, a respected law firm in Virginia Beach, seeks an Attorney to join its growing team. You will handle litigation matters from inception through resolution and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery while maintaining high professional standards.

This role offers no billable-hour requirements, a competitive base salary with potential settlements, and on-site 2–3 days per week. You’ll work with experienced colleagues, manage your own caseload, and travel as needed to hearings

Qualificações

• Active Virginia law license is required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate settlements.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently yet collaborate with colleagues.
• Strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing.
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances; travel expenses reimbursed.
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
