Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Vascular Interventional Radiologic (VIR) Technologist for Downtown Charleston. You will assist with image-guided procedures, maintain sterile technique, and operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include coordinating equipment, preparing patients, and post-processing data for records. Rehabilitation and ongoing education opportunities are available in a modern IR department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT registration required.
• South Carolina licensure required.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with image-guided minimally invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and operate imaging equipment.
• Post-process images and ensure safety and quality of imaging.
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout the procedure.
