Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services is seeking a Passenger Assistance Specialist to support travelers with special needs at the airport. This role focuses on making every journey comfortable by addressing wheelchair requirements and VIP/UMNR needs.

You will work closely with teams to ensure safe handling of luggage, guide passengers through procedures, and maintain security awareness throughout the journey. A strong emphasis on customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
• TSA - General Security Awareness
• OJT - Passenger Assistance Equipment as required

Responsibilities

• Assists passengers requiring wheelchair assistance to/from assigned gate.
• Carries, pushes, lifts, or pulls luggage for any passenger requesting assistance.
• Safely lifts passengers up/down stairs of aircraft and in/out of wheelchairs.
• Escorts VIP passengers and unaccompanied minors to/from flights and/or to meet a receiving adult.
• Reads appropriate paperwork to identify name, flight information, date and special service request details to ensure passengers are taken to the correct destination.
• Properly tags baggage to ensure they are routed to the correct destination.
• Gathers wheelchairs in the concourse and returns them to the staging area for use.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with ADA and other standards.
