Job summary

T2 Group in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as the onsite technical anchor for our premier VIP client. You will own the local IT ecosystem, drive zero-touch Autopilot provisioning, Intune app rollouts, hardware deployments, and deep endpoint remediation.

Backed by remote cloud architects, you will deliver high-touch support to executive leadership, maintain documentation, and enforce security and change-control protocols while collaborating with the remote Chief

Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, or senior IT support within an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with Windows 11, Microsoft 365 (E5), Entra ID, and Intune/Autopilot zero-touch deployment.
Experience using remote support tools and performing privileged endpoint troubleshooting and remediation.
Knowledge of local networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, switches, Wi‑Fi) to collaborate with the remote architect.
Experience with SolarWinds or similar enterprise monitoring tools.
Excellent VIP support and communication skills.
Onsite full-time in Costa Mesa, CA with onboarding/background clearance.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end device lifecycles via Autopilot and Intune (zero-touch provisioning, profile configuration, app deployment, and compliance enforcement).
Establish secure, elevated remote administrative access workflows to perform deep-level OS, driver, and application remediation on end-user machines.
Utilize SolarWinds for real-time network/systems monitoring, proactive alert response, and health reporting.
Lead local network troubleshooting and collaborate with the remote Senior Network Architect to diagnose and remediate core infrastructure issues.
Support local identity/workflows in Entra ID (group policy, CA, MFA) and troubleshoot access issues.
Act as senior onsite escalation lead for complex endpoint and system issues across the Costa Mesa facility; collaborate with remote Chief Architects to test global policies.
Deliver high-touch, white-glove technical support to executive leadership and critical utility operations staff.
Maintain accurate support tickets, SOPs, diagrams, and knowledge base articles while following change control and escalation protocols.
