Job summary

sbe, a global leader in lifestyle hospitality, is seeking a Host Person in Los Angeles to greet guests, seat them, and manage reservations to ensure a seamless guest experience, while answering calls and coordinating special requests. The role requires a polished, friendly, and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum one year in a high-end dining setting; must be 18+; food handler and Responsible Beverage Service certificates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a contemporary dining restaurant.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Experience with taking reservations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and seats them according to the venue's plan.
• Answers the phone and takes, tracks, and organizes reservations, to-go orders, and special requests.
• Maintains knowledge of the floor plan and table numbers; coordinates seating and VIP needs.
• Keeps reception area clean and organized; performs opening, running, and closing side work.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while delivering friendly service.
