Job summary

Stratosphere Gaming, LLC seeks a friendly Host to welcome guests and seat them in a professional, upbeat dining environment. You will help manage guest flow, coordinate with service staff, and maintain a clean, ready dining area to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The role requires strong communication, a team mindset, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced setting. 18+ and English proficiency are essential; prior casino/food service experience is preferred in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture.
• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables while managing incoming calls and guest inquiries.
• Ensure tables are properly set and station readiness meets department standards throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with servers when seating guests outside of designated sections.
• Maintain and inspect menus for cleanliness and availability.
• Assist with guest accommodations, including seating guests with disabilities or children.
• Communicate VIP arrivals or guest special requests to appropriate personnel.
• Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly, or elevate to a manager when necessary.
• Maintain working knowledge of the menu, including current specials.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
