Job summary

VIP Hospitality LLC is seeking a Baggage Service Agent at CLT Airport to support international baggage claim operations. You will assist passengers with wayfinding, manage baggage flow, and work with airport partners to deliver a safe, friendly experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older as required by law or contract.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred or required where applicable by contract or credentialing.
• Previous baggage service, airport, hospitality, customer service, or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required airport badge, credentials, and training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage passengers professionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English to perform duties, use radios, and coordinate with partners.
• Basic knowledge of airport layout; willingness to learn CLT Airport areas and procedures.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to stay professional in a fast-paced airport environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet passengers and provide proactive, friendly assistance at baggage claim.
• Direct passengers to carousels or next steps with clear instructions.
• Assist in locating bags while keeping a safe, courteous environment.
• Monitor passenger flow and report concerns to leadership as needed.
• Organize baggage on carousels so passengers can retrieve bags safely.
• Move or stage bags to support safe operations and efficiency.
• Return baggage carts to staging areas and keep work areas clean.
• Collaborate with CBP officers, airport partners, and leadership to meet standards.
• Follow supervisor guidance during irregular operations or high-volume periods.
