Job summary

Altitude Aerospace in Bothell, WA is seeking a Mechanical Systems Engineer to design and integrate environmental control, water and waste, and oxygen systems for VIP aircraft programs. The role involves shaping early-stage concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to turn requirements into robust drawings.

This onsite position offers the opportunity to advance to senior levels, work with Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and Fusion Manage, and contribute to unique, bespoke VIP interiors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Mid level: 3+ years of mechanical systems design experience; Senior level: 7+ years including system-level design and leading other engineers.
• 3D CAD experience; Inventor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create drawings and schematics for ECS, water and waste, and oxygen systems.
• Lead system-level design and coordinate with other teams (Senior level).
• Lead and mentor more junior engineers (Senior level).
• Work closely with electrical and other engineering groups; ensure clear communication of assumptions and impact on other areas.
